The Emirates Palace – Abu Dhabi
The Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi is
a piece of art that cost US$ 3 billions and makes it the world’s
most expensive hotel ever built. It was opened on the 26th
April 2005 and is operated by the giant company of Kempinski
Hotels and Resorts.
The design is simply beautiful with a lot
of traditional Arabian elements and features. The building is 1
km long and made of 3 connected elements. The Grand Atrium dome
is finished with silver and golden mosaics and a golden finial.
The Archway of the hotel (covered in
Italian stone) is bigger than the Arc de Triomph in Paris. Inside
the hotel you will find over 1 million sq feet of Italian,
Spanish, Chinese and Indian marble which shine under 1002
Swarovski Crystal chandeliers.
