The Emirates Palace – Abu Dhabi

The Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi is a piece of art that cost US$ 3 billions and makes it the world’s most expensive hotel ever built. It was opened on the 26th April 2005 and is operated by the giant company of Kempinski Hotels and Resorts.

The design is simply beautiful with a lot of traditional Arabian elements and features. The building is 1 km long and made of 3 connected elements. The Grand Atrium dome is finished with silver and golden mosaics and a golden finial.

The Archway of the hotel (covered in Italian stone) is bigger than the Arc de Triomph in Paris. Inside the hotel you will find over 1 million sq feet of Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Indian marble which shine under 1002 Swarovski Crystal chandeliers.

The very elegant Emirates Palace offers its guests:

346 ultra-luxury rooms

Private butler service/guest

600 acres of exotic parks and over 8000 trees

Private heliport

Middle East’s most sophisticated convention center

Official guest palace for the government of Abu Dhabi which consists of three-bedroom suits for heads of states and their entourages

1000 staff members and 40 different nationalities

1 mile-long of Abu Dhabi’s most beautiful sandy beach

Roses are everywhere, in the rooms and in the public areas of the hotel (20,000 roses everyday)

2 extensive landscaped pools

2 spas

20 restaurants
